DrupalCon DC - day 2: Flashback!

I can't remember doing much yesterday, but seemingly I have been too busy to write another blog entry, which I don't know is a good or a bad thing.

Summary: Drupal, Drupal and Drupal. Oh, wait, and Drupal.

The full story: After Dries' keynote I met some great people, ranging from 'ordinary' people not known to many, to gurus like Jeremy Epstein (Category), and our kitten-loving webchick, all of whom were great and interesting people that taught me quite a few things.

Around six bangpound, Benjamin Melançon, catch and I sat down to brainstorm about our presentation this Friday. We also discussed some of the improvements we could make to Taxonomy in Drupal 7, but more on that later.

An hour and a half later I took the subway in the direction of our friends at Development Seed. I sat down with dmitrig01, boombatower, cwgordon7 and chx to play board games, accompanied by a nice, cold beer. The games were fun, although I lost badly, mostly by account of chx, not only a Drupal guru, but also a master in games.

Yesterday was also the day a jetlag started peeking around the corner, so when I arrived at the hotel, I started hugging my pillow immediately and didn't let go until this morning.

So far: DrupalCon's great fun, the food not so much, the beer is, the people are even greater and it will only get better!
